En este seminario web, veremos cómo RoadEng, junto con Softree Optimal, puede facilitar el desarrollo de proyectos de líneas de transmisión. También presentaremos algunas de las nuevas funciones de la versión 12 enfocadas en las necesidades de este tipo de proyectos. Veremos cómo:
- Crear modelos del terreno a lo largo del derecho de vía utilizando datos LiDAR, modelos digitales de elevación (DEM) y otras fuentes de información espacial.
- Utilizar Path Explorer para analizar diferentes alternativas de corredores y vías de acceso, aprovechar los caminos existentes para reducir los costos de construcción y conocer las nuevas herramientas de análisis de redes.
- Diseñar caminos de acceso, plataformas para torres y áreas de tendido y tensionado de cables.
- Calcular volúmenes de movimiento de tierras y preparar la documentación necesaria para la construcción.

Version 12: Plan Window Display Styles
V12 gives you more control over how your plan window looks and how your outputs read. The main new tool is the Class Display Styler. You assign alignments to classes, then set linework independently for each class.
This functionality makes it easier to differentiate between alignments that represent different things (i.e., a pipeline from a pipeline access road, or a rural highway from a driveway) and to tell proposed, existing and alternative routes apart on screen and in plots.
We’ll show how to set up classes, apply styles, and carry them through to your Multi-Plot layouts.

Version 12: Hydrology Tools
New in RoadEng V12, the hydrology tools are now available in the Location module. That means you can see how your road affects surface water and drainage while you design.
In this session, we’ll show how to use Streams/Ponds and Drainage Area to a Point to better determine culvert locations and get the catchment inputs you need for culvert sizing. This session applies to any road project where drainage matters.
Hydrology in Location is included with any active support plan.
