| The Terrain Tools 2D provides functions for creating maps. Coordinate and attribute information can be entered by mouse, keyboard, digitizing tablet or downloaded from a GPS device. Maps can assembled using information from a variety of sources including images, industry standard GIS and CAD formats, Microsoft Excel, or ASCII. Drafting and annotation tools are provided as well as calculation of angles, distances and areas in both English and metric units.
