Last year we introduced Terrain Tools® CE, our forestry

customers has been very positive and our user base continues

Quick Measurements using the Measure
Tool
In Version
4.1 a measure tool function has been added. This
tool allows you to
quickly measure distances and angles (bearings, slopes etc.).
The measure tool is available in all Survey, Location and
Terrain windows. To make a measurement.
1. Choose
menu View | Toolbars. If Measure Tools is not checked,
select it. The Measure Tool bar as shown in Figure 1 below
should appear.
2. Right click in the
appropriate window (Plan, Profile etc.) and select New
Measurement.
3. The
measure cursor should appear. Left click to begin a
measurement. Notice the distance and angle (Azimuth, Grade
%etc.) will appear
Template Parameter Overrides
Template parameter overrides allow you to make changes to a
template without creating a complete new template.
