INTRODUCTION

The template data structure has been changed to accommodate 
current and future functionality changes. Template files saved 
from 4.059 and later versions will not always read correctly in 
earlier 4.0xx versions of the software. Please be sure to update 
all your systems with this free maintenance upgrade.

Check our web site for free maintenace releases. 

If you are upgrading from version 3.1, it is not necessary to 
remove an installation of version 3.1 that you are still using.
Version 4.0 can be installed side by side with Softree's 
3.1 products provided it is installed in a different folder.

HARDWARE PROTECTION KEY AND PASSWORD

If you are upgrading from version 3.1, Version 4.0 
requires new key or a password. 



COMPATIBILITY WITH PREVIOUS VERSIONS

Version 4.0 has a conversion utility that allows it to read 
version 3.xxx files. Once files have been converted, they can no
longer be read by 3.xxx software. There is no "Save As previous 
version" function as yet although ASCII and DXF formats can
be used for this purpose to some extent.



ENHANCEMENTS SINCE THE FINAL 3.1 RELEASE (VERSION 3.132)
