In Version 4.1 a measure tool function was added, allowing you to quickly measure distances and angles (bearings, slopes etc.). The measure tool is available in all Survey, Location and Terrain windows.  To make a measurement.

1.       1. Choose menu View | Toolbars.  If Measure Tools is not checked, select it.  The Measure Tool bar as shown in Figure 1 below should appear.

2.       Right click in the appropriate window (Plan, Profile etc.) and select New Measurement.

3.The measure cursor should appear. Left click to begin a measurement.  Notice the distance and angle (Azimuth, Grade %etc.) will appear.

4. To exit a measurement, right click and choose menu Stop Measuring.
