This dialog is accessible from the Edit - Current Field Options menu when the cursor is in the Creek Column (CRK).
Information entered in the Creek Dialog is used to display creeks in the Map screen and in the Location Module for culverts design.
For pipe culverts, enter the estimated diameter in mm (inches if working with in Imperial units) in the Diameter field. No entry is required in the Width field.
If a box culvert is being installed the height and width of the box in meters (feet if working with in Imperial units) should be entered.
If this check box is selected, the direction of the creek is assumed to be perpendicular to the traverse and the gradient is determined from the perpendicular side shots.
Note: Culvert length is calculated in the Location module based on direction and gradient.
Choose Left or Right to set the downstream direction of the creek perpendicular to the traverse p-line.
Choose Enter Direction and enter an azimuth to explicitly set the downstream direction of the creek.
Enter the Slope angle of the downstream gradient. This positive slope is used in the Location module for skew and dip calculations.
Enter the slope distance of the preceding slope angle.
This will clear the creek information at the current station from the traverse document.
