Export DWG/DXF Options Dialog

The Autocad Data Export is available from the File - Save As menu item by choosing from the Save File as Type combo box (lower left) "Autocad Format (*.DWG)" or "Autocad Format (*.DXF)". This option allows you to export the plan, profile and section windows.

The elements you may export will be placed on various predefined layers. The name and description of these layers is displayed in the list box and you may select which of these are exported. See the end of this section for contents of available layers.

DWG Options

Allow 3D Polylines

Selecting this option will assign the elevation to each vertex of all polylines in the exported Autocad file.  If this option is not selected, the vertex elevations of the polylines in Autocad will be the same along the polyline.  This is useful because Autocad does not display dashed linetypes correctly on 3D polylines.

Windows

Select one or all of the window types for export.  Each window type will be exported to a separate drawing file.

Plan

Enabling the Plan checkbox will create a drawing of the same name you enter in the file name dialog.

Profile

Enabling the Profile checkbox will create a series of drawings with "-proXX" appended to the name you enter in the file name dialog.

The plus (+) button activates the Print Profile Options Dialog.

Section

Enabling the Section checkbox will create a series of drawings with "-secXX" appended to the name you enter in the file name dialog.

The plus (+) button activates the Print Section Options Dialog.
